Add & Subtract

Jan 10, 2023

This is a very good year to change ourselves. To rest. To grow. To become more empowered.

For this to occur, we need to add better things, thoughts, habits, feelings into our lives. And we need to subtract things that no longer serve.

Psychology tells us that just letting go of old habits into extinction is very difficult for almost everyone; what is more realistic is replacing existing habits with more helpful ones.

How would it be if each week we played with something new, more supportive, uplifting and expansive? Something that allowed our consciousness to find more joy and freedom.

And each week, we experimented with putting something unwanted to the side? Thereby creating more space within ourselves and our lives, for the upgrade.

If our bottle was full and we were unwilling or unable to empty some water out, there would never be room for a fresh and pure supply. We need heal our wounds, resolve our trauma, pour out the old.

Simultaneously, if we didn’t actively reach for higher quality water, invite and cultivate what is  crystal clear, we would be left with the same quality of life. When facing a vacuum, the subconscious eventually fills that space with more of the old.

So please join me for a year of releasing what no longer serves and welcoming in more of what we all want and need. With this combination we cannot but improve.
