From Unity to Separation and Back

The Soul Warrior journey begins when we choose to leave our spiritual home of oneness and unity. It is safe and warm and blissful in the Ocean of All, yet we cannot know ourselves as individuals; our consciousness is blended with all others, a drop merged with all other drops.

The call of separation invites us to experience our uniqueness in isolation, to become conscious of who we are as independent sparks of Source. We split off to experience ourselves in contrast to others, I and Thou. The dense polarity of earth provides an intense and powerful environment for this adventure to take place. We leave Home to discover who we are.

Once we join with an embryo, it starts. We land in a body and our struggles begin; small, vulnerable, separated us against a world of constant threat and change. Even without abuse and trauma, being a separate self competing for our needs against the rest of the world is challenging, sharp and painful. Our consciousness is prodded into focused awareness.

Brave warrior souls dial it up by planning especially difficult experiences. The more extreme the life challenge, the more intense the feelings and sensations, the greater the growth potential. It is always harder to dig our way out during the lifetime (a shout out to all the courageous therapy clients out there, doing their digging). Yet over lifetimes, our soul will resolve and reconcile every last bit. Thank goodness for reincarnation!

Overwhelming events place us in pits of darkness, and our coping mechanisms, defences and addictions keep us stuck there. The journey back to Unity Consciousness starts in the heavy lifting of therapy. Once we have suffered enough and ask for help, the trauma survivor begins the long climb out of the pit. Eventually we remember the Child of Light we were before separation. We take the Hand of Love always extended to help us out. We heal, reintegrate, remember.

As we clean ourselves off and regain our right mind as beloved Children of Eternity, we return to the Ocean, but not as we left. All we went through as a separate person has evolved our conscious knowing of Self as an individuated yet intrinsic piece of the cosmic jigsaw puzzle. Our adventure has transformed the raw awareness of our soul into refined, focused wisdom.

Once Home, the Warrior will rest, assimilating all the learning and development that has taken place through that incarnation. As hard as it is, especially at Earth School, she will eventually decide, it is time for the next foray into separation. The call of separation will return until we have learned every lesson. Prime Creator is loving us towards our perfection.
